Digital X-Ray
A digital x-ray offers our patients a clear view of the inner structures of their smiles. Unlike traditional x-rays which were time consuming to capture and develop and had to be physically viewed on a light board, digital x-rays use up to 90% less radiation to instantly capture crystal-clear images of teeth. These x-ray scans are immediately viewable on our chairside computer monitors where we can enlarge, color code, or otherwise enhance the x-rays. You’ll be able to fully understand any areas for concern and all of your treatment options because you see exactly what we’re talking about. These digital files are immediately transferrable to insurance providers and specialists when necessary, and we save scans for easy access year after year. We can compare digital x-rays between visits which means we’ll notice right away, if there are any changes. This ensures you receive the best dental care in the earliest stages.
